On March 18, 2025, the Frankel Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies hosted the Wienseneck Symposium on Queer Israeli Culture. This conference gathered scholars from all over the USA, Canada, and Israel to for sessions on Anti-Trans Rhetoric in Israel in Contemporary & Historical Perspective, Queer Temporality in Arab-Jewish Poetry, and a special spoken-word performance by artist Yossi Zabari.

Zabari is a writer and spoken word artist who has conquered the Internet time and again with viral videos that are catchier than the Black Plague. Zabari is also a theater actor, stand-up comedian and proud gay father.
