Max Kade has a number of German-speaking events throughout the academic year, culminating in a springbreak trip to a German-speaking city. Here are some highlights:
Kaffeestunde
Kaffeestunde is a weekly opportunity to mingle and unwind "auf Deutsch". It is a place to connect with other Max Kade residents, chat informally in German and participate in activities prepared by facilitators. The Kaffeestunde is open to the wider German-speaking community at UofM.
Deutschtisch
Deutschtisch is a weekly event in the North Quad dining hall for residents and visitors from outside of Max Kade Haus to speak German during a meal.
Filmabende
Once a week, residents organize a Fernseh- or Filmabend to enjoy a German-speaking TV show or film.
