EEB Museums’ Museum Registrar Ben Hess will offer a workshop on the best practices for bringing specimens and other biological materials to the University of Michigan. The workshop will take place online on Thursday, April 17, 12-1pm.
“The EEB Museums – the Herbarium and Museum of Zoology – continue to improve our best practices when acquiring biological material,” says Hess. “We work closely with international, federal, and state entities to ensure the legality of material that strengthens the integrity of these world-class research collections. This process contributes to the long-term use and value of these specimens for future research and education.”
