Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Ph.D. student, Rosemary Glos, from the Weber Lab, now has her research up as a mini exhibit in the “Micro Worlds” Investigative Lab in the Museum Of Natural History. Stop by if you were always wondering how plants defend themselves! Or if you got a similar question from your kid -and now you can't stop thinking about it.
The exhibit goes with an activity where kids get to draw an imaginary plant defending itself. They also get to write down questions for Rosy, which she answers in the Museum's e-newsletter!
Last semester the Micro Lab was also occupied by an EEB Ph.D. student, Emma Carlson, from the Zaman Lab. Emma got to share her research on biofilms and answer questions like "Can biofilms create an odor?" and "What happens when two biofilms "meet"?".
We can't wait to see the pictures and the questions that Rosy will get!
