The University of Michigan Board of Regents has approved the promotions of two EEB Museums collection managers to Associate Research Scientist.
Brad Ruhfel, Collection Manager of the Division of Vascular Plants at the U-M Herbarium, and Brett Benz, Collection Manager of the Division of Birds at the U-M Museum of Zoology, were recognized for their outstanding contributions to research, collections stewardship, and the advancement of biodiversity science.
"I am honored to receive this promotion," said Brad. "I look forward to continuing work on projects focused on understanding plant diversity that help grow our amazing collections at the University of Michigan Herbarium."
