DAAS welcomed Symone Campbell to the team in December 2025. Her key responsibilities include: office operations and coordination, collaboration with the DAAS Gallery, and supporting the Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) as well as various components of DAAS' Community Engaged Learning Pedagogy.
Symone is a detail oriented, adaptive and enthusiastic professional who brings a thoughtful commitment to supporting the mission and dynamic operations of the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies (DAAS). She possesses valuable experience in event and gallery programming, facilitating communication with diverse stakeholders, and efficently managing administrative operations. Symone is passionate about fostering an inclusive, welcoming, service driven environment that supports the success of students, faculty, and staff.
