...that I am strongly committed to making my CSP courses fair, transparent, and equitable, to the greatest extent possible. My courses are highly interactive and community-focused. I ask students to share their thought process with the class so that we can all learn together. I work hard to create an environment where students feel comfortable making the mistakes they need to make as they learn.

...if you want to grow, you have to take some (positive) risks and put yourself and your thinking out there. Be brave! Your peers have a lot to learn from you -- and so do your instructors!

...spending time with my family, my partner, and our two kids.  I enjoy being outdoors, doing yoga, reading historical fiction, knitting, and baking delicious treats.
