The Summer Bridge Scholars Program (SBSP) is a 7-week academic program that bridges the gaps in opportunity created by inequitable systems in education. SBSP gives scholars a competitive edge as they enter the fall by providing scholars with an opportunity to:
- build a sense of belonging and confidence in their ability to navigate the U-M community
- develop a strong and sustainable network of peers, staff and faculty at U-M
- complete a total of 6 credits in academic coursework
- connect with and utilize university resources across campus
Summer 2023
The 2023 Summer Bridge Scholars Program will take place from Saturday, June 24 - Friday, August 18. This is a residential program and living on campus is required. Move-in and required in-person orientation begin on Saturday, June 24.
