About
Teanu Reid is an Academic Advisor at the Comprehensive Studies Program and primarily provides support and guidance to students. Teanu was born in Guyana, raised in New York, and worked in higher education for ten years before joining CSP. In 2016 she graduated with her BA in History with honors from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. In 2020, she received her MA in History and African American Studies from Yale University, where she is also completing her PhD.
Outside of work, Teanu likes to play with her cats and watch Lord of the Rings. She also likes to travel and has been to 25 states and 15 countries.
