I have worked at the University of Michigan since 2020, joining CSP as an Academic Advisor in 2024. I was born and raised in Michigan, and graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University. While I have worked in several career fields, I have found a home in higher education. As a first-generation student myself, I have a significant understanding of barriers that can impact student success. I strive to help students pursue their individualized goals and passions, while allowing them to be the leaders of their academic journeys.
In my free time, you will probably find me hanging out with my chihuahua/corgi, Norman. I am an avid history-buff, and love to find new historical places to see when I travel. I will always take recommendations for a new historical fiction novel! My interests include reading, music, personal fitness, and enjoying the outdoors.
