IISS Coordinators for 2019-20 Announced
The Global Islamic Studies Center is pleased to introduce the three new graduate student coordinators for the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Seminar (IISS).
Kamal Gasimov is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Middle East Studies specializing in Islamic Studies and Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language.
Jane Kitaevich is a 5th year PhD candidate in the department of Political Science studying Eurasia and the Middle East.
Michelle Al-Ferzly is returning for her second year as an IISS Coordinator. She is a third-year PhD student in the History of Art Department, where she studies medieval and Islamic art.
