Sena Nurhan Duran and Elizabeth Miller Awarded Outstanding GSI for Their Efforts as Women's and Gender Studies Instructors

Elizabeth Miller, a Joint Psychology/WGS Doctoral Candidate and Sena Nurhan Duran, a WGS Certificate and American Culture Graduate Student, have both received Rackham's Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Awards for 2026. 

As recipients of this award, they have demonstrated exceptional growth, performance, and creativity as instructors. Additionally their mentorship has been greatly appreciated by both their students and colleagues. 

We thank them for their continued efforts to make Women's and Gender Studies and outstanding department! Congrats again, to Elizabeth and Sena!
