About
I'm a lecturer in the Sweetland Center for Writing, teaching classes in the Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts program and the Sweetland Minor in Writing Program. My interests involve the inner workings of poetry, experimental fiction, sport, gratitude, and revision—inviting play, improvisation, collaboration, and self-direction into the classroom.
I'm also the Managing Editor for The Adroit Journal, and my work has been published or is forthcoming in online and print publications, including The Georgia Review, The Rumpus, Best New Poets, TriQuarterly, Indiana Review, Shenandoah, Witness, and elsewhere. My debut poetry collection, The Kin of Nakedness, will be published by Four Way Books in March 2026.
