As a part of the Sociology Major elective credits, students must complete at least 12 credit hours with a C- or better from the following list of approved courses.
- A minimum of 8 credits of which must be elected in the LJSC submajor at the 300-level or above

Policies & Credit Limits
A maximum of 6 credits in the major may come from SOC 394 SURO, SOC 395, and SOC 396.
Students majoring in Sociology with a submajor in Law, Justice, and Social Change are not permitted to elect a minor in Crime & Justice or History of Law and Policy.
