Earlier this week, sociologists from across the nation convened in Montréal for the 119th annual conference of the American Sociological Association, centered on the theme "Intersectional Solidarities: Building Communities of Hope, Justice, and Joy." The multi-day event consisted of over 600 programmatic sessions, including 70+ sessions featuring members of the U-M Sociology community, and attracted approximately 5,000 attendees.
