It has just been announced that Professor Geneviève Zubrzycki's article "Aesthetic Revolt and the Secularization of National Identity in Quebec, 1960-1969" Theory and Society 42:5, 423-474 (2013) received an Honorable Mention for the Best Article Award from the American Sociological Association's Collective Behavior and Social Movements Section.

In addition, Professor Zubrzycki has been elected Chair of the American Sociological Association's Culture section.
