It has been announced that Maria Wathen (Ph.D. candidate in Sociology & Social Work) has received a Fulbright Grant for the 2013-2014 academic year.  Maria will work on her project: Civic Culture, Volunteerism, and Social Welfare: Developments in Russia.

The University of Michigan's International Institute announced that UM students & faculty received 32 Fulbright scholar grants this year - 2nd highest of any university in the nation.
