Savannah Sisk wins Raoul Wallenberg Humanitarian Award
Graduating Senior Savannah Sisk has been awarded the 2013 Raoul Wallenberg Award for the best honors thesis on a topic of humanitarian significance. For her excellent thesis, ""It Was a Moral Battle in Me”: The Paradoxical Perspectives of Self-Identified Nondisabled Persons on Understanding and Interacting with Visibly Disabled Persons", Savannah will receive a $1500 prize and a certificate signed by the Dean of the College and the President of the University.
Savannah's thesis advisor is Dr. David Schoem and the Sociology Honors Advisor is Professor Karin Martin.
