Sadia Saeed accepts ACLS position at Yale
UM Graduate Student Sadia Saeed has accepted a position as an ACLS New Faculty Fellow at Yale University. The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) is a very prestigious foundation focused on "the advancement of humanistic studies in all fields of learning in the humanities and the social sciences." The ACLS New Faculty Fellows program provides two-year post-doctoral appointments at universities and colleges across the United States. Only two of the 2011 ACLS fellows are sociologists, so Saeed's accomplishment is particularly notable.
Congratulations Sadia!
