Estate gifts are a crucial source of continuing support for the College of LSA. When you inform us of your intended planned giving, you help us continue to fulfill our mission, inspire other alumni and friends to follow your lead, and ensure that your gift has the impact you intend.
Documenting your planned gift provides an opportunity to explore what is most meaningful for you, and allows us to clarify your intentions and ensure their implementation to the fullest extent. It also gives the university the opportunity to recognize your intended giving during your lifetime, including through membership in the John Monteith Legacy Society. We realize some donors wish to remain anonymous, and we are happy to honor these requests.
Documenting your gift does not create a legally binding contract. We know that priorities and circumstances can change. So, while we hope you will continue to support LSA, we know that what you intend to do now may change. If this is the case, you can make the needed updates and let us know.
