Maria currently works as the LSA Recruiting and Outreach Coordinator for First-Year prospective students. Maria promotes the liberal arts and encourages targeted prospective first-year students to apply and enroll in LSA. She partners with colleagues across campus to plan educational recruitment programs throughout the year to showcase the college and U-M resources to middle and high school students and to encourage admitted students to enroll.
Maria (she/her) is a 2022 LSA graduate with a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Secondary Social Studies Education from the School of Education, after transferring from Northwestern Michigan College, where she earned an associate's degree. She holds Secondary Social Studies and English as a Second Language teaching certifications. Coming from a family of educators, she has a strong belief that all students deserve access to a quality education.
