Jessica Custer

Jessica Custer, Ph.D. is the Organizational Leadership and Professional Development Specialist in the College of Literature, Science & the Arts, where she advances organizational care and healthy workplace culture across LSA. She supports administrative leaders and supervisors in using evidence-informed, people-centered practices to foster trust, clarity, accountability, wellbeing, and belonging.

Drawing on data, feedback, and a systems-based approach, Dr. Custer identifies patterns and opportunities that shape the staff experience and translates them into leadership development, coaching, and professional learning. Her work builds capacity in areas such as psychological safety, burnout reduction, and resilient team development while aligning individual growth with broader organizational strategy.

In partnership with LSA leadership and campus collaborators, Dr. Custer helps strengthen organizational climate, support sustained excellence, and create conditions in which staff, teams, and workplace communities can thrive.
