BA International Studies (Global Environment and Health); minors, Program in the Environment & Asian Languages and Cultures ‘18

Hometown: Bethesda, MD

University of Michigan Affiliations: optiMize, Summer in South Asia Fellowship, Lean In

“Since graduating, I’ve spent the last six years working on global sexual and reproductive health programs for USAID and international and community-based NGOs. I recently graduated with my Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Columbia, and I now live in Brooklyn and work for an NGO on advancing research and learning on family planning, reproductive and maternal health in fragile and conflict-affected countries. Majoring in International Studies broadened my worldview, and I loved having the flexibility to take classes across many subject areas. I have greatly appreciated the support from professors, classmates, and fellow alumni, and I encourage current students to make use of this network!”
