MIRS-Southeast Asian Studies Student
About
Trevor is a second year dual degree student at the International Institute and Ford School. After completing his first year of grad school, he interned with the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the Department of State working within the Southeast and East Asia team. He then moved to Bangkok on a Boren Fellowship where he studied Thai and worked at UNICEF. At UNICEF, he was part of the Child Protection team, working on the migration and access to justice portfolios. He's back in Ann Arbor for the next four semesters finishing his public policy degree.
Prior to graduate school, he was a Princeton in Asia fellow working in Thailand and Myanmar for a year each. In addition to speaking Thai, he is also now studying Mandarin.
