Fenglin Selina Ju is pursuing an MA in the MIRS program with a specialization in Chinese Studies. She received her BA with honors in Global China Studies and a minor in Social Science at New York University Shanghai. Selina’s research centers on Chinese popular culture, digital media, and sound culture. Specifically, she is interested in the materiality of sound, sound production in the contemporary Chinese media context, and interactions between sensory practices and digital technologies.
