About
Lamini is a scholar whose transnational experiences in Ghana, Turkey, Germany, and the U.S.A. shape his academic and intellectual pursuits. His research focuses on the role of religion in shaping social hierarchies in medieval Islamic societies. He studied Islamic Theology in Turkey and joined the University of Münster in Germany as an Erasmus+ exchange student in 2024, with additional coursework at the Freie Universität Berlin’s Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of the Middle East. Fluent in Turkish, he is committed to combining historical inquiry with lived cultural knowledge. Lamini aspires to complete a Ph.D. and become a professor of Religious Studies with a focus on Islam at the University of Ghana.
