The third edition of the "Asia in Headlines" seminar, titled "India, China, and Trump 2.0," is scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2025, at the University of Michigan. This event is a collaborative effort hosted by the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies, the Nam Center for Korean Studies, and the Center for South Asian Studies. The seminar aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the evolving dynamics between the United States, India, and China in the context of President Trump's second term. It will feature two panel discussions and a roundtable session, each focusing on critical aspects of international relations, trade, security, and regional stability. The first panel will examine U.S.-India relations, the second will explore anticipated developments in U.S.-China relations during President Trump's second term, and the roundtable discussion will address U.S. strategy in the Indo-Pacific amidst India-China dynamics.
