Hula is truly a global phenomenon, with more than 2,000 schools in Japan alone, as well as schools in the continental U.S., Mexico, Holland, Germany, and the Pacific. This discussion will focus on the social, ecological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of hula and how and why we think it is the phenomenon it is. Featuring presenters and artists Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanakaole.
