After a summer of intense media coverage, the question still persists: how should we handle children crossing the border without a guardian? And, how do we create a policy that respects these children’s human rights while maintaining national security?
Join Amnesty International’s U-M chapter and the International Policy Student Association to discuss immigration policy with American Culture and History Professor Jesse Hoffnung-Garskof and Ford School Professor Ann Lin. We will be exploring the historical, legal, and political aspects of responding to the unaccompanied minors crisis.
Pizza will be served.
