The Department is thrilled to announce that Vlad Beronja (PhD, 2014) has accepted a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor at the University of Texas-Austin to begin in Fall 2016.  He completed his PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures here at Michigan in Winter 2014, with a dissertation entitled "History and Remembrance in Three Post-Yugoslav Authors: Dubravka Ugresic, Dasa Drndic, and Aleksandar Zograf."  Congratulations, Vlad!
