Ukrainian Language Scholarship
The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures is offering scholarships of $500 for Ukrainian language study at the University of Michigan during the 2018-19 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria: Open to all U-M undergraduate students studying the Ukrainian language at the University of Michigan for one academic year. The following criteria must be fulfilled:
- Two consecutive terms of the appropriate Ukrainian language sequence;
- Courses must be taken in Fall and Winter terms; and
- Students must receive a grade of B- or better in both courses.
Application Deadline: Students must apply by September 11, 2018 to be considered for the 2018-19 academic year scholarship.
Application Submission: Interested students should complete the application on the Slavic Department’s website at lsa.umich.edu/slavic.
Review Process: Applications are reviewed by a selection committee; students will be notified of the academic year scholarship in mid-September.
Scholarship Disbursement: Scholarships will be disbursed at the completion of the Winter 2019 term, after grades have been submitted and evaluated.
