Professor Alex Averbuch, together with graduate student Arthur Mengozzi, has been awarded a Rackham Faculty and Student Ally Grant to support a new series of talks exploring the diverse cultures and literatures of the region the department researches and teaches. This initiative will feature leading scholars whose work addresses questions of identity, marginality, and cultural heritage across national, ethnic, and linguistic boundaries.
