Brodsky in LSA Magazine
Joseph Brodsky, who came to U-M’s Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures in 1972 as a poet-in-residence, was featured in LSA Magazine’s Spring 2017 issue. The article, Speak for Yourself, was written by Brian Short and covers work done by U-M Professor Carl Proffer and his wife Ellendea Proffer to publish works by Soviet authors and support Russian émigré writers.
