Verbal Skepticism in Russian Poetry: from Romantics to Mandelstam, Brodsky, and Kibirov
Assistant Professor Sofya Khagi presents her manuscript "Verbal Skepticism in Russian Poetry: from Romantics to Mandelstam, Brodsky, and Kibirov." The manuscript provides a perspective from Plato to poststructuralism, and considers that some of the most renowned thinkers were preoccupied with deciding whether or not words provided an adequate means of comprehending and conveying the state of being.
Open to the public.
