A workshop reading of <i>The Schooling of Bento Bontsov</i> by Maxsym Kurochin.
This satirical piece is set at a university in the future, when sex is only understood by anthropologists. Bento, a graduate student of sexual studies realizes that sex is all a sham, and becomes a voice of criticism while at the same time he is falling in love himself. The staged reading is acted by undergraduate students and directed by Kate Mendeloff. The presentation will be followed by a discussion of contemporary Russian drama led by dramaturge Leonora Ivanitsky. Keene Theater, East Quadrangle. Free admission.
