A renowned poet, essayist, translator, and editor, Piotr Sommer joins us for a roundtable on poetry and translation. His most recent collection of poems in English, /Continued/ (Wesleyan University Press, 2005), features translations by John Ashbery, D. J. Enright, and others.
Benjamin Paloff is Assistant Professor in the Slavic Languages & Literature Dept.
The Roundtable at 2pm in the Hopwood Room will precede the reading by Piotr Sommer at 5pm in the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
