This is an investigation about how feminist epistemology works within the 'new wave' of Romanian cinema. By drawing on "The Death of Mr. Lazarescu" (Cristi Puiu) and "Four Months, Three weeks and Two Days" (Cristian Mungiu), Popa will show that concepts such as empathy, care and political resistance are powerful feminist resources.
