Rachel Tzvia Back is a poet, professor, and translator who lives in Israel. She has published several volumes of poetry and her translations have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including "The Defiant Muse: Hebrew Feminist Poetry from Antiquity to the Present" (The Feminist Press), "Selected Poetry and Drama of Lea Goldberg" (Toby Press) and "With an Iron Pen: Twenty Years of Hebrew Protest Poetry (SUNY Press).
