Angela Rivera

Angela is the Scholarship Coordinator for the LSA Internship and Spring/Summer Scholarships. She is excited to contribute to the proactive efforts of the office in assisting students access transformative educational experiences.

Before joining the LSA Scholarship Office, Angela worked in several programs centered around student success. She has experience overseeing programming efforts for large cohorts of students which includes developing programming efforts, reviewing applications, tracking eligibility, and program assessment. Angela was an academic advisor within the California State University system. There she oversaw the first-year program and coordinated programs for special populations. She then moved on to Florida State University, where she managed a program supporting student retention and graduation initiatives.
