Scholarships and Communications Coordinator
About
Amy is the Scholarships and Communcations Coordinator for LSA Scholarships. In her role, Amy designs print and digital materials, coordinates internal / external communications and collaborations, and also organizes events. She is involved in all aspects of the scholarship application through awarding process. Her focus will be on Study Abroad Scholarships.
Before joining the LSA, Amy spent the first half of her career in the non-profit, educational sector. She was at JSTOR / ITHAKA helping to launch the first wave of digitally archived journals. Amy then moved on to be the Program Director at the Ann Arbor Art Center where she ran the studio art, gallery and scholarship programs while also volunteering marketing/PR work for One Pause Poetry. She has written grants and secured state and national funding for free access to visual and literary arts. More recently, Amy had been immersed in the local, specialty-food scene, making artisan cheese and building a start up. She managed the Creamery, Farmcart and farmers markets for White Lotus Farms.
In developing our print and digital materials and collaborating with other LSA departments on programs and events, she hopes to reach an ever broadening and diverse range of students. All the while promoting Study Abroad for any elligible LSA students.
