Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP) at the University of Michigan is seeking a criminal legal system-impacted creative to be a Resident Curator for the 30th Annual Exhibition of Artists in Michigan Prisons, the largest curated exhibition of work by incarcerated artists in the world. This residency runs from July 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026, and provides a stipend of $12,000 plus travel expenses. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2025.

The Resident Curator will visit Ann Arbor three times during the residency. They will play a vital role in curating and designing the exhibition, working alongside PCAP staff, faculty, students, and community members. Responsibilities include selecting artwork from Michigan correctional facilities, participating in exhibition design, and creating a new artistic work that engages with the exhibition’s themes.
