About
Sarah Unrath began her involvement with the Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP) as an undergraduate student at the U-M Stamps School and as a graduate intern before joining the staff team in 2021 as PCAP's Community Engagement Specialist & Brand Manager. She now coordinates the Linkage Community, PCAP's arts program for creators who have returned home from prison.
Unrath holds a Master of Arts in Arts Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in Community Engagement & Arts in Carceral Institutions. She is working towards her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of Michigan.
She is a dynamic community leader with over 17 years of experience in arts-driven social initiatives. Proven track record in fostering community engagement, strategic partnerships, and transformative programming. Passionate about amplifying voices of those impacted by incarceration and creating sustainable pathways for community building and artistic expression.
