About

After two decades in California, John F. Buckley returned to his home state of Michigan and his favorite city of Ann Arbor. He's the author of two very modest poetry chapbooks, two less modest poetry collections written in collaboration with Martin Ott (Poets' Guide to America and Yankee Broadcast Network), a solo poetry collection (Sky Sandwiches), and scads of individual poems in various literary journals. He writes some short fiction, too, but with much less persistence and success. Besides creative writing, his academic interests include community-based learning and composition. He likes cooking, baking, playing computer games, and undermining his sleep hygiene by taking naps at the wrong time.
