Housing

Meridian at Mt Vernon Triangle

Overview

MIW students are housed at Meridian at Mt. Vernon Triangle, a modern apartment community located in the heart of Washington, D.C. The housing cost is $5,600 for the semester.

Students live in fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. Apartments are shared, and students should expect to have roommates. Roommate assignments are made by MIW staff, with preferences collected through a housing questionnaire before the semester.

Apartments are move-in ready and include contemporary furnishings, full kitchens with modern appliances and updated finishes, and in-unit washers and dryers. Utilities and WiFi are included, and apartments come stocked with essential items, including linens. Students only need to bring personal belongings and toiletries.

The Meridian offers a wide range of amenities, including a fitness center, rooftop pool and sundeck, and resident lounge spaces. The building also features a 24-hour front desk, study and coworking spaces, package delivery, and controlled access.

Located in the Mt. Vernon Triangle neighborhood, the building is within walking distance of Metro stations, grocery stores, and restaurants, with convenient access to internships across the city.

Guest Policy

Students may host guests in their apartments; however, all guests must be respectful of roommates and follow MIW and housing policies.

Because apartments are shared spaces, students are expected to communicate with their roommates in advance and obtain their consent before hosting overnight guests. Overnight stays are limited in duration and frequency and require prior approval from MIW staff.

Students are responsible for the behavior of their guests at all times. Guests must be escorted and may not be left unattended in the building.

MIW reserves the right to limit or revoke guest privileges if policies are not followed.
