Job Summary
Founded in 1961, the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) is one of the oldest centers in the U.S. devoted to the Southeast Asian region. CSEAS seeks to promote a broader and deeper understanding of Southeast Asia, its people, histories, practices, and languages.
CSEAS is seeking an individual to serve as the Academic Program Specialist for the unit. The Academic Program Specialist is a central figure of the center who can work independently and in team settings to support faculty and center-led initiatives.
This position has a dual reporting relationship; primary functional supervision is provided by the Asia Centers Manager, and academic direction for the center is provided by the faculty director of the center.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position that may occasionally require evening and weekend work hours.
