The University of Michigan and Michigan State University have partnered to host the Graphic Novels Teacher Workshop to help train K-12 in-service and pre-service teachers on how to use graphic novels to teach their students about different regions of the world.
The workshop will be held in East Lansing, and teachers will hear from professors and practitioners about regional events and how they use graphic novels, read graphic novels covering different world regions, and create their own lesson plans to share with teachers regionally and nationally.
