Professor Bertacco is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan since 2003, and in June 2017, she has been appointed Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Initiatives at Rackham Graduate School. Professor Bertacco has worked extensively in Ethiopia as part of the Ethiopia-Michigan Collaborative Consortium (EMC2).
