U-M scholars to lead 2014 Africa workshop of the American Political Science Association (APSA)
Congratulations to U-M African Social Research Initiative (ASRI) Committee members Anne Pitcher, Brian Min, and Rod Alence, who along with Carlos Shenga and Sylvia Croese, have been selected to lead the 2014 Africa workshop of the American Political Science Association (APSA)!
ASRI can also count this among its many successes, as the team's successful proposal to APSA was benefited by connections made through ASRI and by discussions had at the recent international ASRI conference in Ann Arbor.
The workshop will focus on Distributive Goods and Distributive Politics and will be held June 30-July 11, 2014 in Maputo, Mozambique. For more information, please see the APSA website.
If you know of Africa-based scholars or U.S. graduate students who might be interested in attending, please refer them to the above website. Applications are due electronically to APSA via the above website by March 14, 2014.
