ASC's U-M/Africa Engagement Map shows the work that U-M faculty are undertaking across the African continent. Spanning 38 African countries, our faculty members are advancing their projects through research, capacity building, and teaching programs. Although not all of these projects receive sponsorship from the ASC, they nonetheless represent the work of our ASC community that is currently underway. Some projects are featured in our center's annual magazine, "Alliances," as they were initially funded with a seed grant provided by one of ASC's three initiatives. UM-Africa projects are underway in 16 schools and colleges on the Ann Arbor campus, the U-M Libraries, and the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus.
