About
As Technology Library Supervisor for the LSA Technology Services, I am happy to provide customer service to everyone who visits an Technology Library location. Our locations circulate a variety of equipment for short-term use. You don't have to know what you want - you just have to know what you want to do it with and my team and I will do everything we can to get you the correct equipment for the task.
After graduating from Hope College (Holland, MI) with a BA in History and working for a year for Capitol Area District Library (Lansing), I earned my Master's in Archives and Records Management from the University of Michigan School of Information, working for the University of Michigan Libraries Special Collections (Labadie Collection) and the Migrant Health Promotion (Saline, MI) during my time there. From there, I worked for five years as a Librarian for Detroit Public Library Special Collections with a focus on genealogy, local history, and baseball history (all three of which I learned on the job!) before taking on my current position with ISS.
My hobbies are cooking, baking, and reading. I have an odd array of historical and entertainment-related trivia stored in my memory that occasionally graces the trivia board located in our office at G340 Mason Hall. Come by and take a guess!
